Kelly Clarkson and her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock were married for over seven years before they ultimately decided to put an end to their romantic chapter.

Following their highly-publicized breakup, many fans were curious if the singer have any plans on connecting with someone again on a deeper level, but it appears that she's happily single and contented with her children.

The musician, who recently released her new album "Chemistry," took to her official Instagram account to hold a livestream and interact with her followers.

One user asked the "Kelly Clarkson Show" host if she has any boyfriend, but she insisted that she's currently single and appears to be contented with it.

"Do I have a boyfriend? No! And not looking. You know why? I love being single," she said. (via Page Six)

The former "The Voice" coach further noted that "there's a lot going on" in her life at the moment because of her two children as well as their dogs, rabbits, hamster, and "multiple jobs."

"You know, you think you're going to spend the rest of your life with somebody, and you don't. That's hard to start over," she added.

In other updates, Kelly Clarkson appeared on the Today Show where she performed some of her hit songs as well as to celebrate the release of "Chemistry's" deluxe edition.

However, the "Breakaway" hitmaker insisted that it wasn't and clarified that the record itself did not just revolve around the bad side as she wanted it to be a "relationship album" where the positive side also balances the other.

Regardless, Clarkson said it was a "hard record" to make.

Kelly Clarkson Collaborates With Daughter in New Song

Kelly Clarkson just released the deluxe edition of her album "Chemistry" and many fans were shocked to hear a familiar voice on one of the new songs.

According to Rolling Stone, the talk show host and mom of two got help from her daughter, River Rose, to accompany her for the track "You Don't Make Me Cry."

The song begins with the little girl singing a vocal run but the voice was altered with heavy auto-tune before the beat drops and a lively piano music played in the background.
