Fans are furiously speculating that Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift collaborated to arrange the "Game of Thrones" star's most recent legal jab at their shared ex Joe Jonas.
In less than a week, the two ladies have spent two nights out together in New York, and it appears that their nights out coincide with 27-year-old Sophie's newest legal battle against the Jonas Brothers singer, in which she has filed a petition to have their children returned to the UK.
Both Sophie, 33, and Taylor, 33, who have dated Joe, 34, were spotted in New York City on Tuesday and Thursday, a few hours after the British actress filed court papers to sue her former partner, alleging that he had denied their daughters' passports and prevented them from seeing her in the UK.
The timing of the appearances has now led a number of dubious fans to accuse Taylor of being involved in Sophie's lawsuit; many have even suggested that the singer of "Bad Blood" was the driving force behind the actress's claim.

In a quick response, Jonas's representatives stated that the "severe" tone was entirely unrelated to the reported conversation the couple had only days prior regarding their three-year-old daughter Willa and one-year-old daughter "D.J."
He included a chronology of events in the statement made available to DailyMail.com, adding even more fuel to the mystery surrounding Sophie and Taylor's purported allegiance. Joe reports that on Sunday, he and Sophie spent time together in New York with the kids, and the singer says that during that meeting, they'reached an understanding' concerning their co-parenting arrangement.
According to his representative, "Joe left the meeting with the impression that they had come to an agreement to cooperate toward an amicable co-parenting arrangement."
Soon after, Sophie was captured on camera having dinner in New York City with Taylor and a few others. They were spotted having a long talk at the Italian restaurant Via Carota.
After that, they all went to Temple Bar to enjoy cocktails for the remainder of the evening. A day later, Turner made news again with a dramatic court filing in which she claimed to have learned of Jonas's divorce case from the public and accused him of withholding their children's passports.
Some reports claimed that on her part, Taylor Swift just might be laying in the wait to compose the perfect banger for all of the colorful events unfolding in her ex's life.
