From the get-go, a Drake and SZA collaboration is a sure success. Their newest song, "Slime You Out," has debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart, despite controversy surrounding the use of Halle Berry's photo on the song's cover art.

The new feat means a lot for both artists as they achieved new chart milestones with the arrival of the track at the top.

Drake, SZA 'Slime You Out' Billboard Hot 100

According to the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated Sept. 30, 2023, Drake and SZA's "Slime You Out" tops the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

According to Luminate, it raked in 32.6 million streams, a 5.2 million radio airplay impressions, and has sold 2,000 units on its debut frame. It also notched the first spot on the Streaming Songs chart and No. 29 on the Digital Song sales chart.

Notably, the song's landing at the top gives Drake his 12th No. 1 song on the genre-blending singles chart. He is now the fifth artist in chart history who has the most No. 1 hits, coming behind Michael Jackson with 13, Rihanna with 14, Mariah Carey with 19, and The Beatles with 20. Drake is now tied with Madonna and The Supremes with the most No. 1 hits.

As for SZA, this is her only second No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 charts as "Kill Bill" has only topped the charts this year, thanks to the remix released with Doja Cat. However, this feat also comes as a huge one for SZA as she officially becomes the first artist of 2023 to have multiple forays at the No. 1 spot.

Billboard also reported that "Slime You Out" is also the chartleader on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot R&B Songs chart. Drake scored his 29th chart leader on the first chart, beating Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder who only got 20 songs.

SZA, on the other hand, makes "Slime You Out" her third song to lead the chart.
