The Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga, and Stevie Wonder just released their collaborative track titled "Sweet Sounds of Heaven" and the pop superstar gave fans an insight into how the collaboration between her and the legendary musical acts came to be.

Taking to her official Instagram account, the musician shared a behind-the-scenes video of her along with the iconic musicians while they recorded their track at the Henson Studios in Los Angeles, California.

In the caption, the pop star said she was in the same building preparing for her new movie "Joker: Folie à Deux" and was about to go home for the night when suddenly, someone came to her and said that Mick Jagger wanted to see her.

When she walked down the hallway to another studio, she was immediately transported into the '70s as she saw Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, Stevie Wonder, and Steve Jordan.

In addition, there were also friends and family, as well as the producer, Andrew Watt, just listening to the band's then unreleased album "Hackney Diamonds."

Lady Gaga Says She 'Freestyled' the New Song With The Rolling Stones

At first, they all hung out together to listen to music and she sat down on the floor when someone handed her some headphones and a microphone.

Mick Jagger looked at her and said, "go on do you thing then."

Gaga listened to the music and attempted to learn the song immediately, so what she did next was surprising.

"I listened to the music and scribbled furiously trying to learn the tune and then freestyled and sang along," she wrote.

After playing for a few hours, Gaga went home without thinking much of what happened, but she clarified that she loved the song.

However, she was surprised the next day as Andrew Watt texted her saying Mick Jagger wanted to use her vocals for the track and they would like to work with her again that evening.

They later cut the song live as microphones surrounded them throughout the room.

Lady Gaga's 'Sweet Sounds of Heaven' Voice Was Never the Way She Sang

Later in the post, the musician noted that when she sang her part for the track, it was never really the way she uses her voice when recording music.

"I sang in a way I never really sang before except for with Mick. And Andrew and I both cried-there's something about witnessing music history and when you get to be a part of it I think that's exactly what our heaven feels like," she added.

The recent post comes after Mick Jagger spoke with Zane Lowe on Apple Music to praise Lady Gaga, saying she's a really great singer and he never heard her sing like what she did in "Sweet Sounds of Heaven" before.
