A publishing insider has confirmed that the book isn't intended as a "takedown" of anyone - including Justin.

In 2002, three years after beginning their relationship, Justin and Britney experienced a public split.

Later, when Diane Sawyer posed the same question during a television interview with Britney, her answer avoided directly addressing the matter.
