Nicki Minaj has the most dedicated and loyal fans in the world. Most commonly known as The Barbz, her legion of fans has been behind her every step of the way since she was still spitting her mixtape on the streets of Queens in New York.

However, the Barbz has a reputation online, particularly on Twitter/X, that they threaten people who go against their beliefs or get in the way of the Queen of Rap, Nicki Minaj.

Amid Nicki Minaj's marketing rollout for "Pink Friday 2," she issued a stern warning to her fans.

"Dear Barbz, Be sure to never threaten anyone on my behalf. Whether in jest or not, I don't and never have condoned that. We have an amazing album right around the corner 12/08/23. It feels so surreal and euphoric. Wishing you blessings on blessings," she wrote.

Nicki and her Barbz have quite a relationship. In many instances, whether it was during her public speeches at Awards shows, on Twitter, or on Instagram Lives, she has publicly acknowledged their presence, their virtuosity, and how they help her continue to shine.

However, other fanbases point out that Nicki also condones their antagonistic and problematic behavior online. But in Minaj's recent statement, she flat out said that she does not condone such.
