Troye Sivan Reacts To Timothee Chalamet's Skit Of Him On 'SNL' With Boygenius

Last weekend's "Saturday Night Live" performance was a huge treat for the internet as it featured Timothee Chalamet's return to "Saturday Night Live" after a long while.

Among the most notable skits of the night was his impersonation of Troye Sivan as it had been trending on Twitter and TikTok since.

In a skit with Bowen Yang and Sarah Sherman, the latter had confined himself in a hospital after experiencing occurring visits from her sleep demon. Yang induced her in a sleep paralysis, which reveals that the woman's sleep demon is Troye Sivan, impersonated by Timothee Chalamet. (via Billboard)

Chalemet then burst out into a dance that got the whole studio laughing.

When asked if he is a sleep demon, Chalamet, as Sivan, responded: "Not quite girlie. I am an Australian YouTube twink turned Indie popstar, and model turned HBO actor Troye Sivan played by an American actor that can't do an Australian accent."

Surprised by the confession, Yang, the doctor revealed that she was the fourth woman that week who said that their sleep demon was a dancing Troye Sivan.

Induced by the paralysis again, the woman then described the dancing Sivan as "trying on a new pair of legs." As the skit continued, the woman then decided not to expel the dancing Sivan from her sleep paralysis as she admitted that he was "turned on" by him.

However, Yang revealed that the more she accepts Sivan in her dream, the more he will multiply. Alas, it happened. Sivan then invited more "Sivans" - which were impersonated by Boygenius - Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker, and Phoebe Bridgers - the musical guests of the weekend.

People online were in stitches with the skit.

"This Troye Sivan skit was my favorite one of the episode! Seeing Timothée Chalamet as Troye Sivan was perfect and the fact that Timmy learned the Got Me Started routine was brilliant! Troye really need to either host or be the musical guest!" a fan shared.

"Phoebe bridgers, Bowen yang and Timothy Chalamet dancing to Troye Sivan choreography is the best thing that has ever happened to my life," another commented.

Troye Sivan Reaction To Timothee Chalamet 'SNL' Skit

Sivan shared the clip on his Instagram, saying, "WHY IS LIFE SO WEIRDDDDD RN LMAO IM DEAD."

To add more fun, Sivan played along and changed his Instagram profile picture into Chalamet's photo during the skit.

"now they need to take a pic together in the same outfit," someone asked on Twitter/X."
