Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have maintained a united front for the past couple of years, especially during the rapper's court appearances for his controversial and high-profile criminal case, however, this time around, she was nowhere to be found.
According to TMZ, the "Life Me Up" singer and Rocky went their separate ways over the weekend; Rihanna was out and about with her friends while the rapper went solo.
The sight of one without the other threw off fans because they expected to see the couple together at all times, especially after recently welcoming their second child together.
Coincidentally, Rocky is back for another court appearance for allegedly shooting and threatening to kill A$AP Relli.
A$AP Rocky's Criminal Case
According to People Magazine, Rocky was charged with two counts of assault with a firearm; the incident allegedly happened on Nov. 6, 2021, after he had a "heated discussion" with Relli, whose real name is Terell Ephron.
Relli claims that Rocky pointed a gun at his stomach and told him, "I'll kill you right now."
While the rapper allegedly did not shoot him right away, Rocky and his accomplices waited for Relli to walk away before shooting at him.
Rocky has pleaded not guilty to the charges and continues to proclaim his innocence to the court as well as netizens and his fans.

Rihanna, A$AP Rocky Welcome 2nd Baby
All while Rocky is facing criminal charges, Rihanna has stood by his side in silent support. She has not verbally expressed anything about the ongoing case.
According to reports, the couple recently welcomed their second baby, Riot Rose Mayers last Aug. 1, 2023, at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
He is their second born, following RZA, who was born on May 13, 2022. Since giving birth, Rihanna has taken to the motherhood role.
She is completely devoted to her kids, and it seems like she is distancing herself from her husband for the time being.
"Essentially, from one person I became two. You walk into the hospital as a couple and leave as a family of three,' the "Umbrella" singer explained about giving birth to her first child.
"It's nuts. And oh, my gosh, those first days are insane. You don't sleep. At all. Not even if you wanted to. We came home, cold turkey, had no one. It was just us as parents and our baby."
