Cassie shocked everyone with the allegations that he threw against Diddy - filing a sexual assault lawsuit in New York.

However, a day after the lawsuit was publicized, Diddy's team had it settled immediately.

Cassie Spotted In High Spirits After Case Settlement

According to photos that Page Six has gathered, Cassie was seen in all smiles with her daughter in New London, Connecticut.

Dressed casually in a sweatshirt, sweatpants, and sneakers, the singer opted for a bear look for the outing with her daughter. She shares her daughters Frankie and Sunnt with her husband, Alex Fine.

Cassie's emotions seemed to be the polar opposite of Diddy's, who was snapped looking stressed and downcast over the weekend.

Since the case was settled, neither Cassie nor Diddy issued a public statement about the settlement; their lawyers did, however.

What Did Cassie Accuse Diddy Of?

On Nov. 14, 2023, Cassie filed a lawsuit in New York, alleging Sean Diddy Combs of rape and physical abuse during their on-and-off relationship from 2007 to 2018.

"After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships," Cassie told CBS News. "With the expiration of New York's Adult Survivors Act fast approaching, it became clear that this was an opportunity to speak up about the trauma I have experienced and that I will be recovering from for the rest of my life."

Diddy's legal camp has since dismissed and debunked this piece of information, saying that for the past 6 months, Cassie has harassed Combs, blackmailing him into releasing a damaging book about their relationship in exchange for $30 million.

Cassie, Diddy Lawsuit Settled

A day later, the lawsuit was settled.

"I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support." Cassie said in a statement.

On the other hand, Diddy's legal team clarified that settling on the case doesn't automatically mean admission of the crimes and allegations.

"Just so we're clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs' decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best," Ben Brafman, Combs' lawyer, said in a statement.
