Jamie Foxx has yet to complete his recovery journey months after his health battle started.
A source recently spoke about Foxx's current condition months after facing a health issue that left him hospitalized. While he has not spoken about what exactly happened to him, his recuperation continues these days.
Jamie Foxx Still Struggling
Following his battle with the mysterious illness, an insider told In Touch Weekly (via OK! Magazine) that Foxx still faces the effects of the unnamed illness.
"Jamie pulling out of another project has friends worried that he hasn't recuperated as well as everyone thinks," the source said. "He's struggling, but Jamie has been very private about what happened and his recovery."
The insider added that the "Fall For Your Type" rapper is not yet ready to host another game show amid his busy schedule. In addition, he is reportedly being careful about his health issue as he has yet to reach 100 percent of his recovery journey.
Foxx left everyone concerned when he appeared in public following a dramatic weight loss. His friends then expressed their concerns that he might do projects "too soon."
"He's thin and seems weak," the source said, per Radar Online, adding, "...and it's obvious when you hear him speak that a lot of things still aren't right. But in his mind, the worst is over, and life is for living and working, period."

What Happened to Jamie Foxx?
Foxx's health battle started on April 11 when his daughter Corinne posted an update regarding his medical complication. People close to him, including Kevin Hart, assured the public in the weeks after the hospitalization that Foxx was getting better.
The "You Changed Me" singer broke his silence for the first time in an Instagram post to thank everyone for their love and support, but he still did not share what exactly happened to him.
He also shared a video on Instagram in July, saying that he did not want people to see him when he was sick.
"It's been an unexpected dark journey," he wrote in another post, "but I can see the light... I'm thankful to everyone that reached out and sent well wishes and prayers... I have a lot of people to thank... u just don't know how much it meant... I will be thanking all of you personally... and if you didn't know... GOD IS GOOD... all day every day."
