The new swing record by Sir Rod Stewart and Jools Holland is expected to be a "difficult sell." Stewart says so himself.

Together, the 78-year-old singer and the 65-year-old celebrity will release the 13-track album "Swing Fever" on February 23rd.

While the "Maggie May" hitmaker acknowledged that not everyone would enjoy the album at first, he is confident that listeners will eventually want to dance to every song.

Regarding the possibility of performing the record live, Rod stated in the Bizarre column of The Sun newspaper that having Jools and Rod on the bill is a good ticket. He shared that it's not everyone's cup of tea, so selling the record will be challenging, but he is confident that once fans got the chance to listen, they'll be hooked. He promises that everyone won't be able to resist getting up and dancing to every single song.

The two bonded by their love of various tunes, even though they had assembled a lot of songs to dance to. Since Jools and Rod are both passionate about model railroads, Rod disclosed that they always catch up on their shared interest in trains before discussing music.

He said: "Do you know about our railway fanaticism?

"When we text each other, we talk about the model railroads then the music. It should be the other way around.

"We've shown each other our collections. It is so much part of our lives.

"We go into our rooms with our layouts and our workshop."

Although Rod is now taking a vacation from his residency in Las Vegas, he recently expressed his desire to do a "swing show" there again. "If I go back to Vegas - and I'd like to - if the album's a big success, maybe I could do a swing show, big band stuff," he said in response to the Daily Star newspaper's Wired column.

On Tuesday, Sir Rod Stewart and Jools Holland gave an unexpected performance at London's St Pancras Station, shocking the crowd. With a full band and backup vocalists, the 78-year-old singer and 65-year-old pianist put on an exuberant performance in support of their upcoming 13-track record Swing Fever.

Penny Lancaster, 52, Rod's wife, was having a blast taking pictures with her phone while cheering them on from the crowd. Rod looked great as usual, wearing a cream wool coat, thin pants, and shoes with a leopard design. Jools, on the other hand, chose a long black coat, elegant pants, and a navy polo neck top.
