BTS' reunion countdown will be starting soon, as RM and V begin their mandatory military enlistment on Monday, Dec. 11.

RM and V were both shipped off to the Korean Army Training Center in Nonsan for their enlistment, but not without a proper farewell to their fans and their fellow members.

"The day has finally come. I had a lot of thoughts swirling in my head, but now that it's here, I find it hard to speak," Rm wrote.

"I was so happy to live as a member of BTS for the past ten years. I've always said this, but the end is also a beginning. I firmly believe that something good awaits us after this."

According to reports, Jin, J-Hope, and Suga, who are all currently in the middle of their enlistment duties, came to support the two members.

The seven-membered KPOP boy group shared a group photo on their social media platforms, and while most of the members were wrapped up from head to toe, it seems they are well and happy that they were able to reunite.

"Don't get hurt, and return safely my babies," wrote Jin, the first member to begin his military enlistment in December 2022.

RM, V Begin Their Enlistment

According to reports, V has applied for the special mission unit at the Army Capital Defense Command.

He seems to be quite excited to begin a new chapter of his life, as he shared a picture of his newly shaved head with the caption "D-1."

"It was a fantasy of mine. Shaved head and sunglasses. I've always wanted to try it someday, and I'm glad I did," V wrote.

RM also expressed his gratitude towards the other members who have shown their support for himself and the "Layover" singer: "It must have been much harder for Jin and J-hope, who had to endure this time before us. Seeing them handling it so bravely gives us great courage. I believe these 18 months, whether long or short, will be a time of strange and new inspiration and learning for all of us."
