Jin, one of the members of BTS, just celebrated his birthday, but he admitted that he was sad as he was not able to celebrate it with his fans because he's currently serving in the South Korean Military under their mandatory enlistment.

Taking to Weverse, a popular social media platform in his home country of South Korea, the musician expressed his gratitude to his loyal fans for greeting him on his special day.

"Thank you very much to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. I always enjoyed [livestreams] with ARMY on my birthday," he wrote. (translated from Korean to English)

Jin, who recently turned 31, also noted that he wanted to let his fans know that he's with them in spirit.

"Even though I can't be with you physically, please know that I am having a good time with you in my heart," he wrote. (via Billboard)
