Those lucky enough to be part of Elvis Presley's inner circle for twenty years were invited to Graceland for a private Christmas celebration that remains shrouded in mystery - until now.

Billy Smith, a distant cousin to the King, is one of the few individuals alive who had the privilege of experiencing holiday joy alongside the beloved star. His recollection of those moments has always been inspiring and filled with fond memories.

The final original member of the infamous Memphis Mafia and his wife Jo recently granted an interview in which they discussed the celebratory decorations that adorned their mansion.

He said, "Golly. It was almost like living in a fantasy world. Elvis always liked the decorating of the place."

Christmas At Graceland

Upon entering Graceland, the dining room was alive with festive cheer. A grand white tree adorned with red baubles stood tall in the room, and there was an abundance of presents surrounding it, UK Express reported.

Every other nook and cranny had its own Christmas tree, set about with food aplenty for both The King's Memphis Mafia and their families to enjoy. But instead of being a strictly formal affair as fans may have anticipated, it had taken on a far more relaxed atmosphere.

Jo's words painted a vivid picture of life inside the walls of Graceland.

As she recalled, it was an informal atmosphere; Elvis wanted everyone to have a great time, with every guest and companion feeling welcomed and relaxed.

She said: "It was never formal, just casual...everybody sitting around talking.

The child of the Memphis Mafia had a recklessness rarely seen in other households. Lisa Marie and her pals, including Danny, son of Billy and Jo, could often be found frolicking through the house.

The trio's journey together is documented on Danny's "Memphis Mafia Kid" YouTube Channel.

Elvis' Generosity

Billy remembered Elvis fondly, noting his unwavering generosity.

He would give luxurious items such as jewelry, fur coats, and cars without expense. Money was also regularly offered to those close to him.

Jo said, "Everybody got a Christmas bonus because he wanted to ensure everybody's family had Christmas. He was like that all year long, but it was just special at Christmas. It's unforgettable."
