With her iconic hit "All I Want For Christmas Is You," Mariah Carey has become a symbol of Christmas.

Even after almost three decades since its debut, Mariah's love for the holiday season has not wavered. In an interview, the 54-year-old songstress shared her enduring enthusiasm for Christmas and unwavering passion for performing the beloved festive anthem.

"Christmas and the holidays hold a special place in my heart," Mariah expressed to The Mirror, "The magic still surrounds me, and I pour my heart into it every time I sing that song."

Mariah's Heartbreak

Despite her reputation as the Queen of Christmas, Mariah's childhood experiences with the holiday season were far from joyful.

Growing up in a dysfunctional household, she recalls Christmas being chaotic and unsettling. Motivated by a strong desire for change, the "Through the Rain" singer made it her mission to transform her experiences and create a different holiday atmosphere.

With multiple trees adorned with ornaments and a table full of indulgent holiday treats, Mariah embraces the timeless traditions of the season.

Additionally, she has established a unique custom with her beloved family - an annual trip to Aspen, Colorado, ensuring her 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, experience the enchantment of a snowy Christmas.

Experiencing the enchantment of snow during the Christmas season brings her immense delight.

The mom-of-two emphasizes that only some have the luxury of living in snowy places, and traveling to such destinations requires financial resources, which they appreciate sincerely.

Ensuring that her children, whom she shares with her former husband, Nick Cannon, fully immerse themselves in the magic of the holiday season is of utmost importance to her. In fact, this year, they accompanied her on the "Merry Christmas One And All!" tour.

New Music

When asked when fans can hear new music from the diva, she responded, "Yes, there is new music on the horizon. I have been writing new songs, and we have been in the studio recording. I'm excited about it and can't wait for everyone to hear it."

Fans have to wait and see the singer's upcoming music. After all, her children have been joining her on stage recently.

When asked if she would allow her children to become musical stars, Mariah answered, "I don't know. In some ways, I hope they do, but in some ways, I'm not so sure. But they are both talented at so many things. I couldn't be more proud of them."
