Cher has been slammed for allegedly lip-syncing on "Strictly Come Dancing."
On Saturday, December 16, Cher serenaded the audience of the BBC show as she performed her track, "DJ Play a Christmas Song." However, eagle-eyed fans accused her of miming the whole track, leaving them disappointed.
Cher Accused of Lip-Syncing
On X, fans expressed their disappointment amid rumors Cher just mimed her whole song.
One said, "Cher out of breath miming ffs."
"Cher lip-syncing out of time was not the finale we were after," another wrote, while a third shared, "What the hell is Cher doing! So obviously lip-syncing! I think I could do a better job!"
Meanwhile, fans defended the singer and praised her "enjoyable" performance afterward.
Cher has yet to respond to the allegations, but it was not the first time she faced a similar issue this year.
In November, the public criticized her for obviously miming her song again during the Thanksgiving Parade performance in New York City.
One fan wrote at that time, "Shout out to Cher to not even pretend to live sing. If you're going to lip sync, at least embrace the full auto-tune and camp of it all."

Cher Is Worrying Her Family
Cher's recent performance came after insiders revealed the "Believe" songstress' family is worried about her romance with Alexander A.E. Edwards as the music executive might only be dating her for the wrong reasons.
"She's madly in love with A.E.," a source told InTouch Weekly (via OK! Magazine). "They've had their ups and downs - they even briefly broke up once. But now they're back together and stronger than ever."
Her family is said to be mostly concerned about her future once they got married, especially her $360 million net worth. They reportedly want her to have an ironclad prenup in place, but the singer might disapprove of it.
Amid the hate about her romance, she told "Chicken Shop Date" that she did not fall in love quickly with Edwards as she also told her friends not to fall in love with a younger man since they are too old.
Cher and Edwards started dating after their meeting at Paris Fashion Week in 2022. They have a 40-year age gap.
