Celine Dion will return to the stage to sing again - whatever it takes.

Despite her challenging stiff-person syndrome battle, Dion has been showing positivity as she aims to perform again in the future. The disease caused her to cancel her tour and prevent her from holding shows over the past few months.

However, her sister's latest update left everyone worried about her future.

Celine Dion Wants To Sing Again No Matter What Happens

One insider revealed why Dion could not return the same way as before because of the effects of the rare disease. Still, the source said she would still want to sing again.

"Celine would be content to just sit in a chair and sing to entertain her audiences," the insider said, per RadarOnline.com. "But her voice is just not coming back the way that would allow her to perform or record again."

The source added, "She has spasms in her vocal cords. She can sing fine - just like you know Celine for a few notes, then a spasm kicks in and throws what she's singing completely out of whack."

Unfortunately, Dion's condition is reportedly repairable through surgery or therapy, so the source warned fans about the worst things to come.

Celine Dion's Condition Worsened?

The source's revelation came after the "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" singer's sister, Claudette, shared the latest update about Celine's issue.

Speaking in her interview with 7 Jours in December, Claudette said her sibling lost control of some of her mobility due to the effects of her stiff-person syndrome.

"What pains me is that she has always been disciplined. She always worked hard," she said. "In what capacity? I don't know," she said. "The vocal cords are muscles, and the heart is also a muscle. This is what gets me."

Celine was last spotted publicly at the Vegas Golden Knights and the Montreal Canadians game in Las Vegas, Nev., in November. At that time, she serenaded the attendees at the T-Mobile Arena with a few notes that delighted everyone.

Vice president of hockey communications for the Canadiens Chantal Machabée said Celine brought an
"incredible" moment at the NHL game.
