Aside from being a successful country star, Jelly Roll is also known for his kind heart as he loves making his fans happy not just in the form of music but also through his charitable acts. More recently, he did a big move for a supporter who had a dying wish as she suffered from a terminal illness.

According to Billboard, the musician visited a fan from Tennessee named Melissa whose mom, named Sharon, had been diagnosed with "aneurysm" caused by "on-set dementia."

Melissa spoke with News Channel 5 to give more details about her grandmother, revealing that she also had "renal failure" and decided not to undergo a treatment called dialysis because it's "a lot for her."

Although Sharon is suffering from a medical condition, this didn't stop her from becoming a big fan of Jelly Roll as she and her granddaughter Naveah even had matching bad apple tattoos as a form of comemoration for the singer.

Jelly Roll Grants Dying Wish of a Fan

Jelly Roll and Sharon was able to meet thanks to Melissa who did her best to explain her grandmother's situation.

It was back when the country superstar had a toy drive and she spoke with a crew member. She recalled: "I explained her situation and said her dying wish, her number one on her bucket list, was to meet Jelly Roll."

Fortunately, Jelly Roll granted her wish and Sharon was able to meet her idol.

In the interview, Sharon said, "He made me feel like I was so special. He told me I only looked 50."

Melissa also reacted, adding, "It was just an incredible experience to do that with my mom... It will be a day to remember for the rest of our lives."

Jelly Roll Updates

The recent news comes a month after the musician revealed that he's undergoing therapy during an interview with "The Daily Show" along with Charlamagne tha God.

He was asked if how he works on his personal issues, to which he explained that he takes time to love himself and even go to therapy and take it "very seriously."

Later in the conversation, he explained that his upbringing was old-school and he's still connected to his faith with God and his beliefs were a big part of his eolution.
