The Billie Eilish and FINNEAS songwriting-performing-producing duo is unstoppable. The brother and sister duo just bagged their second Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in two years with "What Was I Made For?" from "Barbie."

Eilish and FINNEAS bagged most, if not all, music awards during the Film awards circuit, including the Hollywood Music in Media Awards and Georgia Film Critics Association, among many others. Their next stop - their second Oscar!

Billie Eilish, FINNEAS Win Golden Globe For 'What Was I Made For?'

Based on the nominees for the Best Original Song category at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards, "Barbie" sets an unfair advantage with three of its songs filling in the six spots.

Aside from "What Was I Made For?," "I'm Just Ken," written by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, and "Dance The Night," written by Ronson, Dua Lipa, Caroline Ailin, and Wyatt were also nominated.

Lenny Kravitz's "Road To Freedom" from "Rustin'," "Peaches" from the "Super Mario Bros. Movie" and Bruce Springsteen's "Addicted To Romance" from "She Came To Me" also fought for the coveted music category.

Multiple publications have predicted the Billie Eilish and FINNEAS win, considering the huge buzz that the single has brought to the charts and in reeling in the curiosity for "Barbie."

Ultimately, it became the only competitive category that "Barbie" won that night, aside from the Golden Globe Award for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement that they received.

In reflecting on the win on stage, Eilish got personal.

"It was exactly a year ago almost that we were shown the movie and I was very, very miserable and depressed at the time. Writing that song kind of saved me a little bit," she confessed. "A year later and here we are. It's really surreal. I feel incredibly, incredibly lucky, incredibly lucky and grateful."

Billie Eilish, FINNEAS Primed To Win Their Second Oscar

With the 2024 Golden Globe Awards being considered the precursor for the upcoming 2024 Academy Awards, many could not help but think that Billie Eilish and FINNEAS are on their way to becoming two-time Oscar awardees.

"What Was I Made For?" has been shortlisted for the Best Original Category at the Oscars, and if one would ask, they are most certainly getting nominated and might be the strongest one to compete.

Eilish, 22, and FINNEAS, 26, already scored their first Academy Awards in 2021 with "No Time To Die" from the film of the same name. Should they win again this year, they might be the youngest nominees to win an award twice from the same category and seal themselves as the youngest awardees in the category overall.
