If anyone isn't convinced that streaming is the next frontier of music, the developments behind the scenes occurring right now in 2015 should be enough to show them otherwise. Apple has been busy lately revamping Beats Music, the streaming arm of Beats, which they purchased for $3 billion last May and some details have leaked out to the press about what the future of Apple music is starting to look like. The Silicon Valley giant is making some aggressive moves to leverage its size in the industry and according to recent reports, it may have overstepped the boundaries with a DOJ investigation pending on Apple's pressuring the major's to end free streaming on Spotify. Jay Z, Diddy & Dr. Dre Top Forbes Hip-Hop Cash Kings List: Who Rounds Out Top 5?
Forbes has unveiled its cash kings list for the richest men in hip-hop and the numbers continue to grow at a remarkable rate. Dr. Dre clocked in as the wealthiest man in the genre last year when word began to spread about the sale of Beats to Apple for a whopping $3.2 billion. That number was later revised down to $3 billion and he went on to declare he was hip-hop's first billionaire. However, with his 25% stake in the company and after taxes, he "only" accrued a $500 million windfall. That left the door open for a rise in revenue from 2014's second place artist, Diddy, who has risen to the number one spot in the 2015 hip-hop cash kings list. Jay Z, 50 Cent and Cash Money's Birdman round out the rest of the list. -

Saturday night, the "Fight Of The Century" went down at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao with 16,000 celebrities and high rollers in attendance and millions watching worldwide. However the outcome -- a unanimous decision, which was predicted by many experts, left much to be desired. With all of the one-night-stand boxing fans rushing in to judge on what a good boxing match should be, most were largely disappointed to see a very tactical and finesse bout won by Mayweather. Guns N Roses vocalist Axl Rose was one of those mad at the fight and took to Twitter last night to express his frustration at how the fight transpired. He is also looking for another "free fight" some time soon, which would never happen with all of the money that could be made by all parties. -
