• Marvin Gaye's Family to Sue 'Empire', Lee Daniels for Stealing Their Idea

    Marvin Gaye's family is getting litigious again, and this time they're coming after the smash FOX hit series Empire. After successfully suing Robin Thicke and Pharrell over similarities between "Blurred Lines" and the Gaye hit "Got to Give It Up," Marvin Gaye III is now claiming that he trademarked a show similar to Empire, and creator Lee Daniels stole his vision.

The "Life's Been Good" musician has sold out shows at the Packard Music Hall in Warren, Ohio and then another at the Capitol Theater, so by popular demand Walsh added second shows.

    Columbia House, a relic of the era when physical records and movies were king, has filed for bankruptcy after nearly two decades of declining revenue. The mail-order music and video retailer once boasted an annual profit of $1.4 billion at its peak in 1996 but in 2014 only tallied $17 million in revenue. According to the bankruptcy filings obtained by the Wall Street Journal, Filmed Entertainment Inc., the parent company for Columbia House cited the constantly evolving digital and online landscape and eroding physical CD sales.

    RÜFÜS DU SOL have announced a new set of tour dates this fall in the United States and Australia. The tour will be in support of their new single "You Were Right" and an upcoming, still untitled, sophomore album. The group will head back to their home country in October, just as the temperatures will start to heat up in the Southern Hemisphere for some Spring shows in major cities such as Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
