  • Jaden Smith Releases New Album 'CTV2' For Free On New 'Jaden Experience' App Following Pull Quote-Worthy Interview

    Jaden Smith has been making headlines today for his and Willow's outlandish interview with T Magazine, but he also dropped his new album, CTV2, in a nontraditional way: for free via a new app aptly titled Jaden Experience. The app's icon features a black-and-white photo of Smith's face.

    T-Pain proved last month that just because he uses Auto-Tune for so many of his hit songs, it does not mean he has poor vocals. The "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')" rapper recently sat down with Larry King for an episode of "Larry King Now" to talk about his career and beyond. King's production crew did not let T-Pain leave without a performance, though, so the artist sang "I'm Sprung" from his debut album "Rappa Ternt Sanga," sans Auto-Tune. He did not disappoint, either. He also revealed sometime later that he is working with country star Luke Bryan.T-Pain gave his 2005 hit single a brief R&B makeover for King and the crew after the interview. "Billboard" is currently hosting the exclusive clip.
  • 'Rock of Ages' Shutting Down on Broadway January 18 after Six Year Run; Helen Hayes Theatre May Get Sold in the Downtime

    Rock of Ages is ending its six-year run on Broadway on January 16 but it isn't for lack of success. The '80s-rock music based musical has gathered five Tony nominations and, perhaps importantly, $125 million in revenue over its run. No reason was given for the exit but the show will continue to live on thanks to performances at The Venetian in Las Vegas and aboard the The Breakaway, a Norwegian cruise ship.
  • 'A Very Bonnaroo Thanksgiving' Special Coming to VH1 with Jack White, Metallica, Arcade Fire and More

    The networks are in a giving mood this Thanksgiving with musical offerings. NBC and CBS are bringing on their own batch of stars, like Kiss, Hilary Diff, Meghan Trainor and Taylor Swift for competing Thanksgiving Day parades in New York City.Now VH1 is looking to provide its own form of musical entertainment, titled "A Very Bonnaroo Thanksgiving," with past performances by iconic acts at Bonnaroo, via "Billboard." The broadcast will delve into the archive of past Bonnaroo performances with the likes of Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, Elton John, Metallica, Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons, Jack White, Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and many more, as per the Bonnaroo website.The special will not feature any live performances but rather replays of some of your favorite acts. So if you were there, this is a chance to relive those glorious memories on The Farm. If you were unable to get to Bonnaroo, then this is how they will induce a serious case of FOMO and get you to go next year. The live music will also be a good thing to enjoy from such great acts.

    Odd Future mastermind, Tyler, the Creator, has taken to his Twitter to share a new song titled "Diaper." Described by Tyler as a "random song" that he had "laying around," the track is a short blast of intense, obnoxious noise, which is exactly what we've come to expect from him. Tyler buries his voice underneath the siren-like beat, but his flow still sounds pretty spot-on.
  • Kaskade Announces Redux Show At Pier 36 On Dec. 30

    Kaskade was not able to play his main stage headlining slot on day three of Electric Zoo because the festival was rained out during the afternoon, which forced organizers to cancel the rest of the festival. The American born producer / DJ promised to make it up to his New York City fans and he is doing so in a big way. Kaskade is bringing the Redux live show concept to the big stage at Pier 36 in Manhattan during Big Week NYC the night before New Years Eve, Dec. 30.
