  • Mayday Parade To Record New Album In 2015, Drummer Says

Mayday Parade have been slowly ascending toward Billboard dominance since releasing their 2007 debut, A Lesson In Romantics. The Tallahassee rockers followed that uncharted release with 2009's Anywhere But Here (No. 31), 2011's Mayday Parade (No. 12) and 2013's Monsters in the Closet (No. 10).
  • 8 Christmas Songs By Unexpected Artists: Pink Floyd, Kanye West, And More

Christmas music is typically the territory of Christian artists, country singers, or pop singers looking for a quick cash-in between proper studio albums (though that doesn't mean these cash-ins can't be great). However, there have been some strange cases where artists in other genres, such as rap, metal, and indie rock, have tried their hand at Christmas music as well. Here are eight Christmas songs or albums from unexpected artists.
  • Dave Grohl Shares Kurt Cobain's Reaction to Early Foo Fighters Demos for Seattle Episode of 'Sonic Highways'

Last night (November 28) on Sonic Highways, Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters visited Seattle, the motherland of grunge and home to the frontman's former band, Nirvana. A pivotal moment during the episode revolved around some demo tapes featuring songs that would later become part of 1995's Foo Fighters ("Alone + Easy Target"). • Scott Stapp Releases New Videos Describing Hard Times, Creed Frontman Claims He's Owed $50 Million [WATCH]

It appears to have been deleted, but the singer posted new videos explaining more about his financial woes. Stapp appears to be sober in both videos (he's battled with substance abuse in the past) and claims that his record label, from what he's heard, owes him $50 million.
  • Paul Stanley: KISS Was 'Screwed Over' at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Gene Simmons Had Fun Though [WATCH]

Although Gene Simmons was glad to be a part of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, KISS frontman Paul Stanley was a little less enthused. The singer took to Twitter to express his displeasure with the appearance, for which they played "Rock and Roll All Nite," but offered no specific reason why. It sounds like there was some sort of miscommunication between the band's camp and an executive in charge of the parade.
