  • Jackie Robinson West Has Regional Championship Revoked: Awards Lost in Music, from Miley Cyus, Milli Vanilli and More

    The Little League world took a turn for the sadder yesterday when it was announced that Jackie Robinson West, a team of youth baseball players from the South Side of Chicago, would have its 2014 Great Lakes Regional title revoked. In other words, the coach and other scheming adults incorporated children into a super-team. The players weren't aware what was going on but now they'll suffer the most disappointment, as will their hometown. The revocation of awards is more rare in the entertainment industry than the athletic industry. There are just only so many ways you can cheat. Nonetheless, it's happened. Here are five cases of an award or nomination being revoked in music.
  • Action Bronson Shares 'Mr. Wonderful' Album Cover Art

    Action Bronson has unveiled the album cover art for his upcoming artist album Mr. Wonderful releasing through Vice/Atlantic Records on March 24th. He made the announcement on Twitter and Instagram where he is holding a hard copy of the album in his hands.

    New York-based singer-songwriter Peter Kelly is hard at work on his first full-length album as a solo artist. Ahead of its release, Music Times spoke with Kelly about his education at Berklee College of Music, his decision to go solo, the milestones he's reached, the things he still struggles with, the stories behind his new album, and more.     Steely Dan recently announced a short tour in April that will include a set at Coachella. Elvis Costello will join the band in July for a 21-date summer trek following the music festival. The outing kicks off July 6 in Morrison, Colorado, and wraps up Aug. 12 in West Palm Beach, Florida, "Consequence of Sound" noted.

    While you are poring over the latest news from Big Sean, Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar, Drake quietly unveiled a short film titled "Jungle." Deeply personal and retrospective, the 15-minute short film starts with a sad Drake sitting in the back of his Bentley reflecting on where he is in life.
  • Jack White Releases 'Red Light, Blue Light (Someone's There)' Harry Connick Jr. Cover for 'That Black Bat Licorice' Single Release [LISTEN]

    Jack White is prepping the release of his latest Lazaretto single "That Black Bat Licorice" on the heels of his multiple Grammy wins on Sunday (Feb. 8), and he's bringing a little old school-style music to the mainstream rock charts with a new cover of Harry Connick Jr.'s "Blue Light, Red Light (Someone's There)."
  • Imagine Dragons 'Shots' Music Video Brings Surrealist Artist Tim Cantor's Paintings to Life Ahead of 'Smoke + Mirrors' Release Date [WATCH]

    Imagine Dragons and surrealist artist Tim Cantor have a special relationship, with the California painter designing all of the band's artwork for its new album Smoke + Mirrors. Now, less than a week ahead of the album's release date, Imagine Dragons are paying Cantor back by bringing his paintings to life in the new music video for "Shots."
  • Bruno Mars Fan Thomas Rhett Performs "Uptown Funk" Live Following "When I Was Your Man" Cover [WATCH]

    Thomas Rhett unveiled his fandom for Bruno Mars last month by releasing a cover of the pop star's 2012 ballad "When I Was Your Man." In an interview with "Rolling Stone Country," he revealed that his band was working on a live rendition of the singer's recent Mark Ronson collaboration "Uptown Funk." New video from a show in Dayton, Ohio, confirms that Rhett was not lying.
  • Rick Ross Legal Team Questions Why Only Redfoo Representing LMFAO at 'Hustlin'" Lawsuit Proceedings

    Rick Ross first brought a lawsuit against LMFAO for the inclusion of the line "everyday I'm shufflin'," a clear derivative from his own line "every day I'm hustlin'" from his single "Hustlin'" a year ago. Now the lawsuit has started to move forward and Ross's camp has an issue with LMFAO member Redfoo solely representing the hip-hop duo.
  • Chief Keef Shares "Free Throw" Ahead of 'Thot Breaker' Mixtape; Andy Milonakis Collab Announced

    Chief Keef, as is expected, released a new song "Free Throw" out of the blue last night, Feb. 11. Unveiled by DJ Fly Guy, "Free Throw" sees Sosa reportedly reunite with his frequent producer/collaborator Young Chop for a typical Keef song. This is ahead of the "Thot Breaker" mixtape, and he is also collaborating with Andy Milonakis.
  • Ariana Grande Releases 'One Last Time' Instagram Music Video Teaser: The Apocalypse, Bae and a Pop Star [WATCH]

    Fans of Ariana Grande know that the My Everything star loves all things involving horror and sci-fi, and now she's incorporating those elements into her new music video. Today (Feb. 12), just three days ahead of the release of "One Last Time," Grande teased the music video on her Instagram and Twitter, and it seems like she's heading for the apocalypse.
  • Rihanna, Kanye West, Paul McCartney's 'FourFiveSeconds', Ellie Goulding 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Song Reach Hot 100 Top 10 as Bruno Mars, Mark Ronson Keep at No. 1

    It's still a month full of "Uptown Funk" on the Hot 100 this week. For the sixth consecutive week, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' throwback Uptown Special single tops the Billboard Hot 100. Though it's been a great ride for the track, it may be over soon as two new songs from Rihanna and Ellie Goulding debut in the top 10 and two stars prep major music video debuts.
