Kurt Vile has been speaking about new music for some time and now the guitarist has confirmed a new album from himself and the Violators titled b'lieve i'm goin down to be released during the Fall. A specific drop date hasn't been announced but perhaps it will come in September, before his world tour—which was also newly announced—will kick off on October 1. -

MC Supreme, West Coast Rap All-Stars Member, Killed in Car Crash
MC Supreme, a Los Angeles hip-hop performer best known for his 1990 single "Black In America," was killed in a car crash over the weekend. The emcee had pulled his car over to the side of the Pacific Coast Highway, where it was struck by a man driving a pickup truck. Supreme was pronounced dead at the scene and his female passenger was transported to a local hospital. The other driver was arrested on suspicion of a DUI. -

A 47 year-old man has died at Bonnaroo as the result of a preexisting heart condition, according to representatives of the music festival. Apparently the victim was transported to a hospital on Friday evening, where he succumbed. -
