• Chief Keef Reveals Artwork, Tracklist For 'Mansion Musick' Mixtape [PHOTO]

    This coming Friday, November 28 (yes, Black Friday), Chicago rapper Chief Keef will be dropping his latest mixtape "Mansion Musick," and today he's shared the artwork and tracklist, which you can check out below. According to Fake Shore Drive, the mixtape will feature 21 tracks, most of which were produced by either Keef or Young Chop, though Metro, Bennyman, Ke On The Track, and The Brain also contribute.

    Just yesterday, experimental hip-hop producer Flying Lotus shared a new track from the upcoming re-release of Grand Theft Auto V called "Medication Meditation," featuring Krayzie Bone. Today, FlyLo is back with "Masquatch," another weird yet incredible song from the soundtrack, featuring underground hip-hop visionary DOOM (a.k.a. MF DOOM, a.k.a. Viktor Vaughn, a.k.a. King Geedorah). The track's extremely brief running time (it comes it under two minutes) is reminiscent of DOOM's classic Madlib collaboration Madvillain, and its abstract, hookless production wouldn't sound out of place on their Madvillainy LP.

  • A$AP Ferg Shares 'This Side' Featuring YG [LISTEN]

    A$AP Ferg and YG's BestCoast Connection Tour kicks off tomorrow, Nov. 13, so it is only appropriate that they would record a new song together to celebrate. "This Side" features a highly repetitive trap beat courtesy of THE FAM, while both Ferg and YG deliver some brilliantly eccentric and nimble verses. You can check out A$AP Ferg and YG's "This Side" here: "Hot New Hip-Hop" points out that THE FAM's beat for "This Side" is pretty much identical to the beat in Danny Seth's "I Arise Because," produced by Ducko Mcfli and JGramm Beats, which is scandalous.     Up-and-coming Washington, D.C., rapper Shy Glizzy has shared a remix of his 2013 single "Awwsome," featuring new verses from 2 Chainz and A$AP Rocky, which you can check out below. The blend of their voices works pretty well, since 2 Chainz's and A$AP Rocky's deliveries serve as a nice contrast to Glizzy's more high-pitched tone of voice.

    Compton rapper YG and New York rapper A$AP Ferg have teamed up for a brief string of tour dates in November, Complex reports. The "BestCoast Connection" Tour — not affiliation with the band Best Coast — begins Nov. 13 in Philadelphia and ends Nov. 25 in Boston, making stops along the East Coast — apparently the best coast — as well as stops in Michigan and Toronto.

  • Sam Smith, A$AP Rocky Share 'I'm Not The Only One' Remix, Name-Drop Beyoncé

    British R&B singer Sam Smith has shared a remix of his latest single "I'm Not The Only One" on his Soundcloud page, which you can check out below. The remix features two new verses from Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky, who opens up the song with some references to Sasha Fierce, a.k.a. Beyoncé. Though a rap verse wouldn't seem like a natural fit with the song's retro atmosphere, A$AP pulls it off very nicely with his impressive flow.

  • Trailer For A$AP Rocky Movie Released, Titled 'SVDDXNLY' [WATCH]

    Though Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky is just 25 years old and has only a single album to his name (2013's Long. Live. A$AP), he's apparently done enough during his short career to warrant a documentary about his life and rise to fame. The documentary is titled SVDDXNLY and has been helmed by Noisey, who released the film's trailer today, which you can watch below. Noisey also released a statement about the film.
