A day after his shocking arrest at LAX, new details about ASAP Rocky's case have emerged, now detailing the side of the cops who arrested him.
As reported by Complex and TMZ, the authorities looking over ASAP Rocky's controversial LAX arrest have intentionally "blindsided" the rapper's camp on the pending arrest.
A very pregnant Rihanna and his boyfriend, ASAP Rocky, landed in LAX yesterday morning, coming from a highly-publicized Barbados vacation trip.
ASAP Rocky New Arrest Details
TMZ details that a "shocked" Rihanna "looked on" the police as they handcuffed the father of his unborn child.
It was reported that "at least" ten different police officers made the controversial arrest after Rihanna and ASAP Rocky arrived at the terminal.
Aside from that, the new report says that the arrest had been planned for more than a week leaving the rapper's camp baffled about how the nature of the arrest turned out.
Commonly, LAPD and other enforcement agencies arrest a suspect in a voluntary surrender. This is where the police would typically call the suspect's lawyer and arrange to turn themselves in without any fanfare.

TMZ's law enforcement sources say that the reason authorities blindsided the rapper was so that they could simultaneously search his house for the handgun that he allegedly used in the 2021 shooting.
The Wednesday arrest has received backlash on social media, with one of Rocky's neighbors complaining that they were "frankly offended" by how the police handled the situation.
At the time, Rihanna wanted to make a quick detour to their house to pick up some of her things but was allegedly denied to do so.
ASAP Rocky Arrested For An Alleged 2021 Shooting Incident
Apparently, ASAP Rocky has been under investigation by the Los Angeles Police District because of his alleged involvement in a shooting that transpired on Nov. 6, 2021.
According to the LAPD, an argument between "two acquaintances" escalated, with one of them eventually firing a handgun at the victim - who sustained a minor injury.
After the shooting, the police argued that the suspect and two other males fled the crime scene on foot - and they later identified Rocky to be one of the suspects. Thus, the controversial arrest.
As of this writing, ASAP Rocky posted $550,000 bail yesterday.
More information about the case is expected to come out in the coming days.
