• Charli XCX and Bleachers Cancel Tour, "I Need To Be Creative"

    The road seems to have proven too much for Charli XCX and Bleachers, the side project of Fun.'s Jack Antonoff, as the two have jointly cancelled their "Charli and Jack Do America" tour. Charli in a Facebook status on her band page sighted personal reasons, stating "I need to be creative."

    Ty Dolla $ign, Charlie XCX and Tinashe have shared the music video of their collaboration "Drop That Kitty," which is expected to appear on his upcoming LP 'Free TC.' The trio performed the track live on television Sunday night, April 12, during the MTV Movie Awards, and now the world has the official visual treatment. It follows the trio as they ride around in cars and on bikes with large cat heads obscuring supporting female actors, while Tinashe and Charli XCX show you how to drop that kitty to the Stargate- and Cashmere Cat-produced beat. Dolla $ign enlists a few of his friends for cameos toward the end as the guy-girl ratio evens out with "CoCo"-loving rapper O.T. Genasis making an appearance with beatsmith DJ Mustard and Wiz Khalifa, blunt in hand.

According to reports, the show will not only feature the Major Lazer character that has been a fixture in their videos over the past few years, but it will also have guest appearances from stars like comedians Aziz Ansari and Andy Samberg and musicians like Tiësto, Trinidad James, Charli XCX, RiFF RAFF, The Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koening and many more.

    Charli XCX has released a video for her single "Famous" off her latest album Sucker as part of the 2015 YouTube Music Awards. Ironically, the video takes down the very self-obsessed Internet culture that YouTube helped spawn. Directed by Eric Wareheim of Adult Swim's Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, the clip shows a Charli XCX fan, dressed like Charli in a Charli-themed room, trying to dance along to a Charli music video that she's watching on her cellphone. Then things take a dark, grotesque turn.
