• Wiz Khalifa Talks 'See You Again,' PARTYNEXTDOOR, Curren$y Collaborations

Wiz Khalifa has seen success with a single before when "Black and Yellow" went to number one and "We Dem Boyz" became one of the 2014 summer anthems, but "See You Again" may have the legs to top both of them. Backed by the might of the Fast & Furious franchise, Khalifa has topped the charts for a month straight and does not appear to be losing any steam. He spoke to MTV recently about the success of his Paul Walker tribute track and the opportunities it has afforded him, as well as recent collaborations with Curren$y and PARTYNEXTDOOR.
  • Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y 'Weed Naps'

Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y and marijuana - there are few threesomes more fitting than that. The pair (Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y, though I image number three was present) recently announced a new collaborative EP titled #2009 and we now have the second whiff of what the EP will sound like. The pair in a spur of the moment decision shared the first track from the EP, "Weed Nap." Read the tweets below and that nap might have been a very deep one if it took them that long to release the track after Monday.
  • Curren$y 'Even More Saturday Night Car Tunes'

Curren$y continues his impressive output with another edition of his Saturday Night Car Tunes EP series, updated to Even More Saturday Night Car Tunes EP. The 5-track EP comes on Spitta's favorite holiday as the New Orleans rapper gives his fans something to celebrate April 20 (or as he would rather call it 4/20). The slim, 5-track EP features the laidback, smooth sound one would expect from Curren$y and is largely devoid of features except for averse from Yo Gotti on "Do It For A G."
  • Curren$y and Freddie Gibbs Share "Fetti"

Curren$y and Freddie Gibbs have shared their collaboration "Fetti" for the new compilation inspired by 'GTA V' titled 'Welcome to Los Santos.' Created and compiled by Alchemist and Oh No and heavily influenced by their work on the score of 'Grand Theft Auto' with late composer Edgar Froese of Tangerine Dream and Woody Jackson, the album features tracks from the likes of E-40, Action Bronson and Danny Brown, Phantogram, Vybz Kartel and others.
  • Curren$y Shares "Sidewalk Show" Music Video

Curren$y has unveiled the music video for his track "Sidewalk Show," which was taken from his recently released album 'Pilot Talk III.' The music video is short and simple, sticking with Spitta outside his tour bus in a lot somewhere in the United States with heavily graffitied buildings surrounding him. Blunt in hand, always lit and available for a puff throughout the two-minute video, Spitta drops his "braggadocios" rhymes into the camera for the simple and street-smart clip.
  • Curren$y Releases "Life 2 Die For"

New Orleans rapper Curren$y -- born Shante Scott Franklin -- has shared a new track, "Life 2 Die For," featuring the production work of Purpdogg. "Life 2 Die For" comes on the heels of the release of Curren$y's highly anticipated LP 'Pilot Talk 3,' the third edition of his celebrated album series 'Pilot Talk.' The new single is presumably a leftover from the album, but was too good to leave gathering dust in a hard drive, so they released it.
  • Curren$y: 'Pilot Talk 3' Will Only Be Released on $100 USB Drive

Fans have been patiently waiting for Curren$y's 'Pilot Talk 3' album to drop, and the New Orleans rapper recently made an interesting announcement about the project's release. The spitta said his upcoming LP will only be released on a USB drive for $100.

  • Curren$y Previews 'Pilot Talk 3' With "Briefcase" [WATCH]

We have not seen a full-length studio album from Curren$y since his 2012 effort "The Stoned Immaculate," but it appears that is about to change. He is gearing up to revive his "Pillow Talk" album series, which he started in 2010 and released two critically acclaimed albums, "Pillow Talk" and "Pillow Talk 2" in the span of five months. The "Jet Life" rapper has released a new music video "Briefcase" that is the first preview from the upcoming third installment of the album series, titled "Pillow Talk 3."
  • Wiz Khalifa Samples Mac DeMarco For "Smoke Chambers" [LISTEN]

asdEven though he has no upcoming album or mixtape projects that we know about, Wiz Khalifa keeps dropping new songs, his latest being the exceptionally trippy and laidback "Smoke Chambers," which you can check out below. The song heavily samples fellow stoner Mac DeMarco's synthpop number "Chamber of Reflection" from his latest album Salad Days, even keeping DeMarco's original "alone again" vocal hook, which ties in to Khalifa's theme of the alienation his fame has brought him. This is the sort of hazy production that Khalifa should be using more often.
