    ANOHNI, formerly known as Antony Hegarty of the chamber pop group Antony & The Johnsons, fuses elements of dance floor-ready pop with conventions of protest music on Hopelessness, her debut album under new moniker. With help from avant-electronica producers Oneohtrix Point Never and Hudson Mohawke, she presents goosebumps-inducing protest music for an era marked by drone bomb strikes and global climate change.

    Scottish producer and DJ Hudson Mohawke went on a bit of a Twitter rant this week, claiming that he was never paid for a number of unreleased songs by international hip-hop heavyweights Kanye West and Drake. Though he has deleted his original tweet, the Life of Pablo collaborator threatened to leak these songs since he was never compensated. After a short period of time, however, Hudson Mohawke has backed away from his threats and tried to help the situation pass without any trouble.

    Montreal DJ and producer Tiga has announced his new album No Fantasy Required. The album has co-production and features from Matthew Dear, Jake Shears, Hudson Mohawke and Paranoid London. Pairing with the announcement, he has unveiled his new collaboration with Hudson Mohawke, the druggy tune "Planet E." The LP is by and large all new music, but does include the previously release single "Bugatti" (no not the one that Ace Hood woke up in).

    Oneohtrix Point Never, the moniker of electronic producer/DJ Daniel Lopatin, has teamed up with visual artist Nate Boyce on a short film entitled "Repossession Sequence." The nightmarish CGI video features excerpts from Lopatin's recent album Garden of Delete including "Freaky Eyes," "Ezra" and "Mutant Standard" as well as some additional composition.

    Red Bull Music Academy 2015 has unveiled the list of artists who will perform and present during its five-week-long series of presentations, concerts, workshops and art exhibitions in Paris. Among those who are slated to RMBA in Paris next month include Hudson Mohawke, Jean-Michel Jarre, Laurent Garnier, Mr. Oizo, Floating Points, Omar S and others.

    Hudson Mohawke, real name Ross Brichard, has finally released his sophomore album Lantern through Warp Records after promoting the LP with singles and videos over the past few months. He previewed the album in full last week on iTunes radio. The 14-track album is split between instrumentals and vocal collaborations in the R&B and rap world. He taps names big and small like Miguel, Jhené Aiko, Irfane and Antony to sing on Lantern. The new LP is Hud Mo's first album since 2010's Butter.

    Hudson Mohawke has shared the first single "Very Last Breath" featuring French vocalist Irfane from his sophomore artist album 'Lantern.' The LP, which will be released in June, is set to feature the likes of Miguel and Jhené Aiko. The Kanye West, Drake and Rick Ross collaborator is set to release his first LP in six years June 16 with 'Lantern' after announcing it two weeks ago with a terrifying trailer. HudMo shows a new dimension with "Very Last Breath," giving his deftly crafted instrumental a more melodic twist instead of the minimal or hard sounds he has been putting together recently with a big, booming, off-beat bass line, pitched synthesizers and spacey arps. The track is topped off with vocals from Irfane, who was behind Breakbot's classic "Baby I'm Yours."
