• Offset from Migos Arrested in Atlanta for Suspended Driver's License

    It wasn't too long ago that Migos' Offset was taking a plea deal for gun and drug charges. The rapper spent a lot of 2015 in jail but eventually entered an Alford plea deal and got out with five years probation in December, according to Complex. But it seems that freedom may not be lasting that long. The rapper has just been arrested again in Atlanta.

  • Migos' Offset Denied Bail, Remains in Jail

    According to AllHipHop, Offset of the Atlanta rap trio Migos has been denied bail for the third time and will remain in jail for charges of possession of firearms and more. Bulloch County Superior Court Judge John R. Turner denied his bond after a hearing on Oct. 9th and filed documents this past Monday. Turner denied two previous bail appeals for the Young Rich Nation rapper, according to the Statesboro Herald. The Judge said he would view surveillance footage before deciding to release Offset on bail.

    Migos' Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, will be staying in jail for a little while longer after he was denied bond at a hearing Friday. The Assistant District Attorney Barclay Black argued that due to Offset's past criminal history that includes drug violations, burglary and criminal street gang activity and the current charges that he faces, Cephus should be denied bond. The judge agreed and the decision was handed down. As Offset was being led out of the courtroom, the visibly upset rapper according to local reports, yelled profanities at the judge.

    Although Migos members Quavo and Takeoff were recently released on bail, previously convicted felon Offset wasn't so lucky. He remains behind bars with even more charges slapped on due to a prison fight. However, new music has emerged from the incarcerated rapper on a track from Rich Homie Quan called "Trap House," which is featured alongside material from Young Thug, Yak and Birdman on DJ Dubble D and DJ Scooby ATL's upcoming mixtape, The Leak.
