    Ratatat have made their upcoming album Magnifique available for streaming 8 days in advance of its official release on NPR. The Brooklyn-based electronic-rock duo comprised of Evan Mast and Mike Stroud, have been silent for the better part of five years, sparsely touring without any releases since their 2010 effort LP4.     After nearly five years of being dormant, experimental electronic duo Ratatat are back in 2015 with some brand new music and shows. After premiering their new track "Cream On Chrome" at Coachella the NYC duo of Evan Mast and Mike Stroud have announced their first album in five year, Magnifique. The 14-track album will be released on July 17 via their label home XL Recordings. It will see the band return "to their core guitar-driven sound" according to a press release (via Consequence of Sound). It will also include the band's first-cover, of the song "I Will Return" by Springwater.

The duo have been noticeably quiet since they released their last album LP4 on XL Recordings in 2010, but it appears they are making a comeback of sorts in 2015. The pair will be doing a few regular shows on the West Coast at the Fox Theater in Pamona, California, the Odgen Theater in Denver and other shows in Las Vegas, Tulsa and San Diego. The west coast run will be capped off with their two-weekend stint at Coachella.
