  • 'The Voice' Season 7 Recap & Review: Top 3 Revealed & Eliminated Contestants Sing Again for the New Wildcard Spot

Seven seasons into The Voice, and it's time to throw a few wrenches in the works. Enter in: the wildcard race. Instead of sending the four most consistent performers into next week's finale or just three, the show allowed each cast-off performer from the Top 12 to return and, well, sing for their lives.
  • 'The Voice' Season 7 Recap & Review: Top 8 Narrowed Down to 5 in Shocking Triple Elimination

The Voice season seven continued tonight, narrowing down the top eight to the five semi-finalists in a slaughter, bloodbath, shocking elimination. Either that or four singers had to perform for a Twitter save after the top half were sorted out on the merits of their votes and iTunes sales... one or the other.
  • 'The Voice' Season 7 Recap & Review: Top 8 Show Up with Stunning Performances as Gwen Stefani & Pharrell Debut "Spark the Fire"

It's hard to believe, but season seven of The Voice is starting to wind down. Last week, the top 10 gave some of the worst performances of the season. So, if these kids want to seem worthy of the top five or, god forbid, even winning this show, they needed to show up. Luckily for them, they did. From the best of the best (Matt McAndrew, Craig Wayne Boyd) to those who are just somehow holding on (Ryan Sill, Luke Wade), everyone was better than usual, making this show feel truly legitimate.
  • 'The Voice' Season 7 Recap & Review: Top 8 Revealed as Anita Antoinette and Reagan James Go Home [VIDEO]

The Voice season seven only had eight blank spaces this week, but 10 contestants. And after another intense performance from Taylor Swift, two strong contestants, Reagan James and Anita Antoinette, were sent back home.
  • 'The Voice' Season 7 Recap & Review: Top 10 Embrace Mediocrity Despite Superstar Help

Last week, the top 12 showed off some of the best performances on The Voice season seven thus far, with everyone from Chris Jamison to Anita Antoinette to Matt McAndrew shining bright. This week, a little bit of the fat was trimmed from the teams of Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams, and great mentors like Christina Aguilera and Diana Ross were brought in to help along the top 10... so why was everything so mediocre?
  • 'The Voice' Season 7 Recap & Review: Top 10 Revealed as America Twitter Saves Ryan Sill (For Some Odd Reason)

The Voice season seven is now down to just 10 contestants. Last night (Nov. 18), the contestants handpicked by Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams found out their fate. Following performances from Team Gwen, Team Blake and Ella Henderson, the best singers (and one terrible contestant) moved forward in the competition.
  • 'The Voice' Season 7 Recap & Review: Top 12 Won't Include Elyjuh Rene, Taylor Phelan After Shocking Elimination Round

The Voice is pretty heartbreaking. After weeks of getting to know a contestant, just in an instant, like that, eight are sent home. It's OK to cry if you're hurt - Gwen Stefani did. On Wednesday night (Nov. 12), the first live results show for The Voice season seven aired, leaving two shocking eliminations and this reviewer lamenting the team structure.
  • 'The Voice' Season 7 Recap & Review: Best & Worst of Live Shows Night Two from Unevenly Matched Team Pharrell & Team Gwen

The Voice season seven's live performances began last night with very consistent and solid performances from Team Adam Levine and Team Blake Shelton. Tonight (Nov. 11) was apt to be far less consistent, with the very strong Team Pharrell Williams up against the relatively weak Team Gwen Stefani.
  • 'The Voice' Season 7 Recap & Review: Best & Worst of the Final Knockout Rounds' Bizarre Matchups (And Taylor Swift Helps!)

The Voice season seven keeps chugging along, proving that time is but a quick illusion. Like, it's already November and stuff too. WHAT! Tonight (Nov. 3) was the final round of the knockouts, narrowing down the four teams to just five apiece and gearing up the coaches and The Voice audience for the live shows.
  • 'The Voice' Season 7 Recap & Review: Best and Worst Performances of the Final Blind Auditions (And Twitter Runs Ahead)

So here we are... the blind auditions of The Voice have finally come to an end, after five long episodes. And even though the saying goes "save the best for last," The Voice didn't necessarily follow that pattern, filling out the last two hours of auditions with strong singers, though even the best of the best weren't particularly noteworthy.
