Elton John 2024 Music

News of Elton John's return to the recording studio is buzzing among fans once more, fueling excitement for his next album.

Since the 1960s, the British singer-songwriter has consistently delivered chart-topping hits, captivating audiences worldwide: his most recent album, "Regimental Sgt. Zippo," released in 2021, showcased his enduring talent.

"It's all been very top secret, but Elton is back in the studio working on a new album," an insider revealed to The Sun.

"Time frames are always movable, but the fourth quarter has been penciled in terms of a release date."

The insider went on to say, "He adores music, and that will never change, but the desire to be as busy as he was has waned."

"Elton will still have a Rocket Hour radio show on Apple Music, and Finger is very much still on the pulse; he just wants to slow down a bit and spend time with his family, but the new album is coming."

In January, Elton John achieved a remarkable feat that has placed him among the elite in the entertainment industry.

The "Cold Heart" crooner joined an incredibly exclusive club as he became an EGOT holder, solidifying his status as an individual who has received the prestigious quartet of awards.

The accomplishment came to fruition when he emerged victorious at the 2024 Emmy Awards ceremony, claiming the honor in the category of Outstanding Variety Special.

Despite the extraordinary achievement, Elton could not attend Los Angeles to receive the award in person.

His absence was a result of his recent knee surgery, which was necessary after sustaining an injury during a fall while enjoying a vacation in France.

Just last year, "Rocket Man" star also embarked on a memorable trip to France alongside his husband, David Furnish, and their two precious sons. This delightful journey followed the successful conclusion of Elton's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" tour in July in the same year.

Despite leaving open the possibility of creating new music in the coming years, Elton John decided to bid farewell to the demanding world of touring.

In his statement, the musician expressed his current weariness with touring and the demanding nature of being on the road separates him from his loved ones - his family and his children, to be precise. Nevertheless, the "Skyline Pigeon" hitmaker clarified that he has not permanently retired from performing.
