The power couple released a new song together that quieted down the marital issues buzz for a short time. However, the rumors returned afterward as sources shared more details about their relationship.

Amid the claims, Stefani reportedly realized something that led her to change things.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's Marriage Has Its Ups and Downs

Stefani and Shelton remain busy with their respective careers, but they are said to be more determined to patch things up and make it up for each other.

"Gwen saw the signs. They were spending too much time apart, so she decided things had to change," an insider told Life & Style Magazine. "Gwen and Blake have had their ups and downs. But they are committed to making their relationship work."

The pair reportedly agreed to hold more family dinners at home with her kids, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo. They also got plans to enjoy a romantic getaway soon.

Previously, the married couple shared the stage to perform their new song, "Purple Irises," live for the first time at the Allegiant Stadium.

They tied the knot on July 3, 2021, after meeting on "The Voice," following their respective divorces.

Blake Shelton Was Accused of Not Prioritizing Marriage to Gwen Stefani

The source's claims came after fans flooded Shelton's Instagram page in January when he kept on posting updates about his upcoming gigs.

The Sun quoted one commenter, "I won't want to go because he should be trying to make his marriage work before more concerts."

"You need to start spending time with your wife before you lose her," one chimed in, while another wrote, "Gwen did a mistake trusting you."

Stefani and Shelton spent their New Year and Valentine's Day away from each other. Fortunately, they dropped their new single and stopped the buzz for a while.
