Taylor Swift and Katy Perry recently made headlines as the latter finally attended "The Eras Tour" and she was spotted vibing and dancing in the crowd throughout the night. Fans might remember that the two pop stars had a feud years ago and it was even the inspiration behind the hit song "Bad Blood." Let's revisit the incident which led to the pair's fallout below,

According to Entertainment Weekly, Swift and Perry were both friendly online and in-person whenever they bumped into each other at events between 2009 and 2014 as they greet each other on social media.

However, 2014 was a completely different year for the pair. In an interview with Rolling Stone at the time, Swift explained that her track "Bad Blood" off her album "1989" was inspired by another woman in the industry in which she was unsure if they were friends or not.

"She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'" she added.

Swift added that the woman she was referring to did something "horrible" to her and it wasn't about a man, but rather about business.

The pop star claimed that the unnamed singer attempted to sabotage an arena tour by hiring people "out from under" her.

A New Chapter for Taylor Swift and Katy Perry

In 2017, Perry finally spoke out about her side for the first time and revealed that it was Swift who started the feud and she had to finish it. She confirmed that it all began over backup dancers.

The following year, it appears that things are heading in the right direction for the two as Swift took to social media to share that she found an "actual olive branch" in the form of a letter and it seemed like a message from Perry.
