Ramón Ayala, popularly known for being the King of Accordion, is finally bidding goodbye to the music industry after his decades of work as a musician, and to give his fans a final treat, he will be going on a farewell tour; check out all the details below.

According to Billboard, the musician will conclude his six-decade career with his final tour, "El Principio De Un Final," which translates to "The Beginning of an End."

The singer will have over 50 concerts in different arenas and auditoriums in Mexico and the United States.

"A northern music icon announces his retirement from the stages... He will carry out an important farewell tour performing in different cities in the United States," the announcement reads on his official Instagram account.

The farewell tour will kick off at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, on March 9, and the final show will be at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, on November 30.

He will also take his music to major cities such as Chicago, Atlanta, and Las Vegas.

Ayala isn't done surprising fans as he will also release new music on March 8, 2024, titled "El Retén."

Ramon Ayala's Career

According to Billy Bob's Texas, Ramón Ayala was born on December 8, 1945, in Monterrey, Mexico. He has mastered the accordion and has been singing for over six decades.

He began using the instrument when he was only six years old, and thanks to his family's support, he could perform in different public places.

Since he's considered legendary in his field, the musician inspired a new generation of artists like Intocale and Grupo Frontera.

He received over four Grammy Awards and countless recognitions throughout his run as a musician.

Ramon Ayala's Dedication to Helping People

Aside from being talented, Ayala is also charitable, as he partnered with Fundacion Hermes Music through Guitarras Por La Paz to continue campaigning for music as a significant instrument in pieces.

His initiative aims to distribute several guitars and educational materials to charitable organizations.

"In conjunction with Hermes Music Foundation the artist will give away instruments in each of his presentations," the announcement reads on his social media profile.
