Dweezil Zappa made a name for himself in the world of music, so he's doing his best to honor the legacy of his late father, the legendary Frank Zappa, whenever he has the opportunity. More recently, the guitarist announced that he will embark on a tour this 2024 to perform his father's previous albums.
According to American Songwriter, Dweezil will go on a series of shows later this year to play two of his father's best albums, "Roxy & Elsewhere" and "Apostrophe," originally released over half a century ago.
The musician will kick off his series of shows at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, AZ, on August 1, 2024, before visiting major cities across the United States, such as San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Reno, Los Angeles, Cleveland, Royal Oak, Pittsburgh, Newark, and many more.

To those interested in watching the musician's upcoming shows, a pre-sale already started on March 13, 2024, and will run via Ticketmaster until the general on-sale on March 15, 2024.
"It's been a long time since I've been on stage playing the music I love," Dweezil said as he took a long break.
"I'm inspired to try new things and looking forward to playing with the best musicians I know. I'll be bringing a hot setlist of Frank Zappa classics and personal favorites to all of the fans," he added.

Dweezil's legendary father, Frank Zappa, died at 52 in December 1993. His cause of death was due to complications related to prostate cancer.
Frank's children-Dweezil, Diva, Moon, and Ahmet-embarked on their individual careers throughout the years.
