Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie Xo, had a scary malfunction on their private jet last night, resulting in an emergency landing.

While they were on their way to Austin for the CMT Music Awards, the couple's plane had to reroute and make an emergency landing due to an unspecified issue. Bunnie Xo took to TikTok to share the news at midnight.

"When the private jet you're in just stopped mid air, turned around & said we had to emergency land because of a malfunction," she said in her TikTok, which featured her and four of their crew members looking worried.

Her TikTok was flooded with concerned fans, all wondering if they had landed safely. An hour after she posted the video, she commented back: "We landed but might have to get back on the same plane."

The following day, Jelly Roll, Bunnie Xo, and their crew re-boarded a private yet to attempt to take the trip again. It is not specified if it is the same aircraft or a different one.

"Alright LA, let's try this again," she captioned her Instagram story, which showed them enjoying several bags of McDonalds before takeoff. "Austin, here we come!"

Although their trip has been slightly delayed, Jelly Roll will still be making it to the CMT Awards, where he is slated to present and perform. His "Need a Favor" music video is also nominated for three awards.

While the couple are luckily safe after the scary event, plane crashes have taken the lives of several musical artists in past years. Patsy Cline, John Denver, Aaliyah, Buddy Holly, and more have perished in similar circumstances.

During last year's CMTs, Jelly Roll took him his first two country music awards. This week, he is coming off his two wins from Monday's iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Set to air on Sunday, April 7 on CBS, the CMT Awards will also feature performances from Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, Sam Hunt, Trisha Yearwood, Cody Johnson, and Little Big Town. A tribute to Toby Keith is also slated for the broadcast, with Brooks & Dunn, Lainey Wilson and Sammy Hagar with Lukas Nelson and Roger Clemons taking part.

Jason Aldean is also set to perform, following his divisive "Try That in a Small Town" controversy, Billboard reports. He will be singing his country chart-topping "Let Your Boys Be Country."

The Kelsea Ballerini-hosted ceremony will also feature Amber Riley, Mickey Guyton, Melissa Etheridge, Carly Pearce, and more. The three-hour event begins at 8 p.m. and will run until 11 p.m.
