Morgan Wallen was arrested in Nashville Sunday night (Apr. 7) for allegedly launching a chair off of a rooftop bar.

Legal records reveal that the country singer, 30, is facing charges related to three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct.

These legal issues arose shortly after Wallen finished his One Night at a Time world tour in Indianapolis with two back-to-back performances.

The singer's lawyer told WKRN, "At 10:53 p.m. Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities."

Morgan Wallen Arrested

Police officers assembled before Chief's Bar, a property owned by country star Eric Church, on Broadway on Sunday evening. Suddenly, a chair plummeted from above, landing close to where the officers stood.

Wallen allegedly was identified the one who had thrown a chair from the sixth floor. The arrest report detailed how video evidence captured Wallen "lunging and throwing an object off the roof," as reported by WTVF.

According to eyewitness accounts given to law enforcement, Wallen had been engaging in reckless behavior, specifically throwing a chair over himself and laughing in amusement afterward.

Law enforcement officials detailed in their report that Wallen was apprehended on charges of reckless endangerment due to the potential harm posed to the public, as two officers were present in the vicinity at the time of the incident.

The official document states that Wallen was taken into custody by law enforcement officers on charges of disorderly conduct due to his actions creating a dangerous situation without a valid reason.
