The Jonas Brothers have postponed their European tour dates just weeks before they were set to kick off, following low ticket sales in Australia.

The band took to their social media this morning to announce that they have "some exciting projects" coming up, which has led them to completely reshedule the shows to later this year.

"We have shifted the European dates to later this year but that is only because we have some exciting projects that we're very excited to share with you at a later point," Nick Jonas said in a video, backed up by his brothers Joe and Kevin. "European fans, we love you and we can't wait to see you, been long overdue, and we are so excited to play these shows later this year in the fall."

Their European trek was set to kick off in Norway on May 18, before traveling throughout Germany, France, London, and more throughout the next month. The short notice in postponement led to several Jonas Brothers fans taking to social media to voice their disappointment after already finalizing their travel arrangements.

"You guys DO realize people spent their hard earned money and made plans to make this work, right? A "bit inconvenient" seems like a "bit" of an insult," one fan responded to their video.

Another shocked fan also responded: "It is not just a bit but very inconvenient for many fans who already pre booked hotels, flights, everything. And your explanation "exciting projects" is not a good reason to postpone a whole tour."

Fans pointed out the "Sucker" singers' positive demeanor as they announced the controversial postponement, with many stating that an unspecified "project" is not enough to forgo their planned tour. Many also stated that they should reschedule their projects, not the tour.

"Read the room please, how can you all look so happy when rescheduling literally a month before the tour was meant to start? The short notice is gonna be hell for us to get a refund for our flights and accommodations + getting time off of work. This ain't nice," someone else posted on X.

The cancellation comes after the band faced low ticket sales throughout their concert run in Australia. Fans were also disappointed when ticket were heavily discounted or given away for free leading up to their first Aussie tour.

According to the Daily Mail, a fan claims that they paid $250 for tickets that were later being sold for $80 the weekend before the show. Several fans noticed that tickets were given out for free moments prior to the concert starting to pack in the empty stands. Tickets - which went on sale last July - originally ranged from $79.90 to a whopping $987.85.

They are still slated to play Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Columbia, and Peri later this month, with their first show in San Paolo slated for early next week. Their rescheduled European dates can be found below.
