Amid the festivities of the Coachella music festival, allegations surfaced about Kendall Jenner's 818 Tequila crew and their involvement in defacing a cherished AC/DC mural in a quaint bar in Indio, California.

Throughout the initial week of the event, the 28-year-old model and her associates actively endorsed the alcoholic beverage label.

AC/DC Mural In Club 5

A vibrant 818 Tequila decal-style sign was displayed at Club 5 Bar during a promotional event. Nonetheless, recent reports indicate that Randy Franco, one of the proprietors, voiced concerns over the alleged damage caused by Jenner's team to the original AC/DC mural beneath the sign, as reported by TMZ.

Amid it all, insiders with knowledge of Jenner's circle revealed to the Daily Mail that Franco and his mother, Carmen Franco, were both fully informed of the potential risks involved with the mural, including the possibility of damage or destruction.

After the event, it is alleged that Franco and his family were fully informed about the state of the location but chose not to voice any concerns. In a surprising revelation, the 818 Tequila decals, despite appearing painted on the wall, were, in fact, a distinct piece that had been affixed to it.

On Monday, Franco released a statement alleging that the supermodel's company had neglected the preservation of their newly installed AC/DC mural, leaving it scuffed and chipped without any effort to repair the damage.

Franco emphasized that he and his associates had granted 818 Tequila permission to utilize the wall for displaying the 818 sign but had explicitly requested the implementation of a protective layer to prevent harm to the underlying mural.

In claiming that the team neglected proper handling, he asserts that the sign was affixed to the mural using adhesive, damaging the paint when it was taken down.

Franco's next steps remain uncertain, as his current actions involve reaching out solely to the event coordinator to communicate his discontent regarding the mural.

In a recent email seen by TMZ, Franco's mother inspected the property and specifically highlighted the mural, deeming the condition satisfactory as Jenner's group left.

Jenner, who showcased the brand while preparing pasta alongside her sibling Kylie on Valentine's Day, introduced her tequila label, 818, in February of 2021.
