Simon Cowell has no plans to burn bridges with Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh no matter what the latter two have said about him.

Reiterating that he is still "really good friends" with Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell has pledged to mend his differences with them.

During their stay in the Celebrity Big Brother house last month, former X Factor judges Sharon and Louis, both 71, made fun of music producer Cowell, 64.

Osbourne said she was "fuming" with Cowell because he had not renewed her contract on the talent show, which had cost her a significant TV role. Louis claimed that because the mogul "cut him out" of his life, he and Simon are no longer in communication.

However, Cowell has now made his voice known, stating that he is prepared to speak with the two in order to make amends.

He told the Mirror: 'If you put Sharon and Louis in the house, that's what you pay them for, they're going to be controversial. I still consider Sharon and Louis really good friends, we could pick up the phone to each other tomorrow. I think that's probably one of the things they're upset about, because they can never get hold of me."

He added, "Amanda is a great friend, but I really do believe Sharon and Louis are great friends as well. I don't have a phone but from what I heard, what they said about me was actually quite funny. And I probably will phone them both in the next week or so, because I haven't spoken to them for a while and it sounds like I should do."

He then also said, "What would I like to say to them? "How are you?" Whenever I meet them, see them, speak to them, it's like we've spoken yesterday. My honest opinion is I think we miss each other."

In another news,  Simon Cowell has revealed that he had to change his appearance on this season of Britain's Got Talent due to a personal battle with migraines.

Watchers saw the 64-year-old music mogul wearing red lens spectacles with judges Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli, and Amanda Holden during the season premiere. Cowell made it clear that his new eyewear is a health precaution rather than a fashion statement, citing the show's "laser-like" lighting as the source of his health problems.

"The red glasses are because I have lights in my eyes all day long and it's like a laser and I get migraines and that's like a filter," he told The Standard. "They actually do work."
