British pop star Charli XCX has shared the music video for her song "Breaking Up," which you can check out below. The BRTHR-directed clip finds Charli breaking up with her clueless boyfriend and then hitting the bowling alley to pick up guys and play a show with her band (this must be Asbury Lanes, then). The video is shot with a bizarre combination of low-budget graininess and a bright neon color palette, which gives it a visual aura vaguely reminiscent of a grindhouse horror flick from the '70s.

"Breaking Up" is the third music video to be shared from Charli XCX's upcoming studio album Sucker, following "Boom Clap" (which was also included on the soundtrack to The Fault in Our Stars) and "Break The Rules." A lyric video for the track "London Queen" was also shared.

Sucker is set for release on Dec. 15. It will be Charli's third studio album overall, her first since her 2013 major label debut, True Romance.

"I decided to name my album Sucker for a few reasons," Charli told Radio.com. "the name is like a 'told you so' to all the people who doubted me and thought I was a bad songwriter. It's also my cynical view on some people in the music industry and how they're so weird and caught up in such bizarre, tiny things."

"I guess it's also a comment on me," she continues, "because even though I feel like I'm critiquing the pop circus, I'm also very aware that I'm part of that now."
