The nominees for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards were announced on Friday morning and YG was left out to dry when it came to the Best Rap Album category. He responded to the snub by releasing "2015 Flow" from his upcoming Blame It on the Streets soundtrack.

Despite releasing his critically-acclaimed debut My Krazy Life this year, the "Who Do You Love" rapper will have to hope for better luck next time, yet he remains optimistic on the DJ Mustard-produced cut.

"You gotta speak it into existence / Ni**a, keep winning / They said Dre made a billion / I'm like, s--t I can do it if he did it," he raps.

YG recently discussed his work in 2014 prior to the L.A. screening of his short film at Hollywood's famed TCL Chinese Theatre.

"I feel good. [When] we came into the whole making of My Krazy Life, one of the goals was to come out the studio with a classic album and to come out with a short film for the album," he explained. "We couldn't get the movie done in enough time to come out with the album 'cause there was a lot of s--t going on. But we figured out a way to still put an album out the same year with the label's support and that was do a short film with the soundtrack."

Blame It on the Streets is set to be released on Dec. 15.

This year's nominees for Best Rap Album include Iggy Azalea's The New Classic, Childish Gambino's Because of the Internet, Nobody's Smiling by Common, The Marshall Mathers LP2 by Eminem, ScHoolboy Q's Oxymoron and Wiz Khalifa's Blacc Hollywood.
