During a recent lecture at Oxford University, Kanye West revealed that President Barack Obama "calls the home phone." However, in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, the Commander and Chief spoke about his relationship with his fellow Chicago native, and said that West's claim isn't quite true.

"I've met Kanye twice," the President explained. "The first time when I was a senator, and he was with his mom. He had just gotten big -- he's from Chicago ... He was very soft spoken, very gracious," to which Kimmel remarked, "That sounds like him." Obama responded, "He was a young guy, hadn't quite come into his own."

He continued: "Then, about six months ago, he came to an event. Look, I love his music, he's incredibly creative, but I don't think I have his home number."

Later on, Obama took on the famous segment "Mean Tweets."

"Is there any way we could fly Obama to some golf course halfway around the world and just leave him there?" one twitter users asks.

"Well, RWSurferGirl, I think that's a great idea," the president responds.

"How do you make Obama's eyes light up? Shine a flashlight in his ears," writes another, which gets a nice laugh out of the president.

"Somebody send Obama some lifehacks on how to be a good president haha. like, i bet that would help. Lol," another tweet reads.

But Obama fires back with a grammar lesson, saying, "You know, the 'lol' is redundant when you have the 'haha.'"

Elsewhere in the interview, he spoke about the recent shootings of two police officers in Ferguson, Missouri.
