You can now watch Angie Martinez's interview with Birdman, in which the Cash Money Records boss talks about the ongoing controversy surrounding his relationship with Lil Wayne, who he still refers to as his "son," as well as the futures of Drake and Nicki Minaj, both still signed to his label.

The Power 105.1 radio host shared a preview of the interview yesterday (July 29), in which we found out that, when Lil Wayne made his grievances with Cash Money public, Birdman was just as surprised as the rest of us.

Throughout the full interview, Birdman stays cool, downplaying most of the drama he's been involved in — blaming it on the media — and denying most every controversial accusation made against him.

He still talks to Wayne regularly, he says, but they don't talk business. We have to imagine there'd be a few elephants in the room, such as the $51 million lawsuit Wayne brought against his "father" in late January. Even so, Birdman remains under the impression that Wayne hasn't explicitly voiced his wish to part ways from Cash Money. "That's a conversation we can work out," he says of the lawsuit.

"If he say he wanna go, I'm not gonna stand in his way. That's my son. I can fight it if I choose to, but if he tell me, 'Pops, it's time to move on--"

"He hasn't told you that?" Angie interjects.

"I haven't heard it from his mouth," maintains Birdman.

He then goes on to regard the most shocking allegations made against him — that he conspired to shoot up Wayne's tour bus in Atlanta — as "the craziest sh*t I've ever heard in my life."

"If something happens to my son and I talk to my nephew, I need to find out what's poppin'. If you shoot a gun at my child, I got a problem with that."

We don't know if by "nephew" he means Rich Gang affiliate PeeWee Roscoe, or Jimmy Winfrey, the man who's currently in jail for shooting at Wayne's bus. Or Young Thug, perhaps?

He also denies his involvement in a recent incident at Miami's Club LIV, where it was rumored he threw a cup at Wayne while performing "CoCo (Remix)," a Cash Money diss track.

On said track, Wayne raps, "I ain't trippin', I got Barbie, I got Drake too." If Wayne does manage to leave Cash Money, many feel he might take the two superstars with him, which would be more likely if he was able to independently acquire his Young Money imprint, to which both Drake and Nicki are signed, from its parent label. In any case, Birdman is certain that neither artist is going anywhere.

"But what if what he wants is to take them [Nicki and Drake]?" Angie asks.

"That's impossible."
