Community actress Alison Brie and Neighbors star Dave Franco recently got engaged, confirmed Brie's representative to E! News. On Monday (August 24), Brie was spotted at the premiere for her new romantic comedy Sleeping With Other People at the London West Hollywood wearing a gorgeous diamond ring.
The two have managed to keep themselves out of the spotlight and away from paparazzi, so much to the point that trying to find a picture of them together would be easier than finding a needle in a haystack. According to E! News, the funny pair have been dating since 2012. Despite the lack of public sightings, the two might be connected in more ways than you think.
The two have never walked a red carpet together, but they did both attend the Met Gala in the spring and sat front row together at the Dior Homme Spring/Summer 2016 fashion show in Paris in June. The Dior Homme show was one of the only times the 32-year-old actress and "These Girls" singer was photographed with the 30-year-old younger brother to James Franco.
Brie and Franco also supplied voices for the popular 2014 box office hit, The Lego Movie. Brie played Unikitty, while Franco played a construction worker named Wally, who worked alongside the Chris Pratt's main character, Emmet. Individually, the actors have a variety of movies under their belt, but some of their most talked about performances were portrayed in comedies, including their 2013 Funny or Die sketch, Dream Girl.
In Brie's new film, Sleeping With Other People, the California native plays a serial-cheater who runs into her womanizing friend from college in a therapeutic 12-step group program for sex addicts. The movie hits theaters in the United States on Sept. 11.
