1990s alt gods Garbage set to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their self-titled LP's debut with an extensive tour in addition to a much-anticipated reissue. A definite milestone for the band, the 20th anniversary of their first studio album will be revived as a special edition reissue set to include a number of exclusive features and previously unreleased tracks.

Known for their moody single "Only Happy When It Rains" and the equally brooding "Stupid Girl," the Wisconsin based four-piece synonymous with trip-hop and grunge emotives re-defined the world of alternative rock with their 1995 full length self-titled debut. Fronted by Scottish vocalist and musician Shirley Manson, the band has continued to be applauded as one of the most influential bands of the 1990s. To help mark their career, a new version of Garbage is set to arrive

Garbage, who are currently "hard at work on a new studio album" according to a recent interview with Stereogum, will hit the road in October for their "20 Years Queer" tour during which they will play their legendary album from beginning to end in addition to its subsequent B-sdes. Bound to be a must-see set for fans, Garbage's live performance, much like their debut singles, will be difficult to forget. Their tour begins in San Diego on Oct. 6, Consequence of Sound reports.
