The 2015 American Music Awards already have a host in Jennifer Lopez and a slate of big name nominees including Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd, and now this year's award show has its first round of performers. On Tuesday (Oct. 21), the AMAs announced 5 Seconds of Summer, Selena Gomez and Carrie Underwood will be performing on the show's stage in November.

On the brink of their new albums, all of which arrive in October, 5SOS, Gomez and Underwood will join already announced host Lopez as performers at the AMAs, Billboard reported.

For Gomez, this will be her second straight year performing at the AMAs. In 2014, she stunned with an emotional performance of her Justin Bieber-inspired single "The Heart Wants What it Wants." This year, however, she will be more likely to perform her new Revival singles, "Good for You" and "Same Old Love," which have a sassier, more sexual air.

As for 5 Seconds of Summer and Underwood, their respective new albums Sounds Good Feels Good and Storyteller will arrive on Friday, Oct. 23. Thus far, 5SOS has released two official singles from its new album, "She's Kinda Hot" and "Hey, Everybody!" The band has also released a series of promo tracks, including "Money" and "Jet Black Heart."

Underwood's Storyteller is being led by the Sam Hunt assisted track "Heartbeat." The country superstar is not just attending the AMAs as a performer; she's also nominated for Favorite Female Artist - Country against Kelsea Ballerini and Miranda Lambert.

The 2015 American Music Awards will air on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
